+HELPFUL TO KNOW: Our street, Milwaukee Avenue, is also called Hwy. 36
+Coming from Milwaukee Hwy. 36 is also called Loomis Road
+Parking is free all day in the city lots! 
 +BEWARE, there are more than 32 trains on the tracks just 1 block from us, so please factor that into your driving time if you are coming in from the north, so that you can arrive on time.
+There are bike racks near us, free all day of course.
+Individuals & families, please have you admission ready to pay upon arrival to save time, exact amounts appreciated. Admissions are cash only.
+Everyone--Please arrive 10-15  minutes before program time. Doors to the building are open just 15 minutes before tour time, not earlier. 

    DRIVING &PARKING DIRECTIONS

*For BUS DRIVERS/ BUS TOURS ONLY: 
to end up in front of building for unloading:
-at the stop-lighted intersection of Hwy. 36 & 11 West
- turn left onto our street: Milwaukee Av/Hwy. 36

-IMMEDIATELY pull into the end space (with white stripes)  where it says "No Parking" which is legal for UNLOADING

-OR if there are enough spaces anywhere in the block you may unload and park in the 2 hour parking spaces

-to park in these spaces you must fit inside the lines, but not be using the 15 minute spot for any portion of the bus

-welcome, you found us.

BUS TOURS: call the day before or earlier, for information on where to unload the bus and where to park.

-take 142 West toward Burlington, for 17 miles

-142 comes to stop sign in Burlington, turns left onto bridge

-2 intersectons after bridge, turn right onto Dodge Street (you are in the city)

- proceed straight ahead on Dodge, becomes Hwy. 11 West

-follow Dodge/Hwy. 11 West for about 7 blocks until you come to the intersection of Hwy. 11 and Hwy.36 (Milwaukee AV) (BUS DRIVERS: NOW SKIP TO INFO BELOW FOR BUS TOURS***)

-CARS:  if you only LOOK to your left, you will see us in the middle of the block

-BUT TO GO TO THE FREE  CAR PARKING LOT,

 -go one more block straight ahead on Commerce Street

- turn left onto Mill Street

-go one block, proceed directly ahead into free (all day) Municipal parking lot

-park and walk back to street, turn right walking past St.Vincent’s resale store to the corner (intersection of Milwaukee Av/Hwy.36 and Hwy 11)

-walk left ½ block on Milwaukee Avenue (also called Hwy. 36)

-we are in the middle of the block on the left side of the street, next to Teacher Place & Parent Resources, across from Krein’s

 ***BUS TOURS:  to end up in front of our building for unloading:

--at our  intersection (Hwy. 36 & 11 West), turn left onto our street: Milwaukee Av/Hwy. 36 (2 way street)

FROM MADISON

-I-90 south toward Janesville

-exit 14 East toward Delavan

-take 14 to Hwy. 11 toward Delavan, go through Delavan & Elkhorn

*BUS DRIVERS/ BUS TOURS: (follow directions above until the *, then:)

-immediately, as you pass through the intersection,

-on the right side pull into the "NO PARKING" spot to unload, (it has white stripes),  it is legal to unload here

-from this corner we are just 1/2 block on the right side just after  Teacher Place & Parent Resources

-or if there are enough parking spaces anywhere in the block, you may park and unload there, as long as your bus fits into the lines

-the bus cannot use any of the "15 minute space" after unloading, but you can pull forward if spaces are open, parking is then free 2 hours

FROM RACINE  to Burlington (45-55 minutes)

-take Hwy. 20 West, just past I-94 and past the Racine County Building

-turn left onto Hwy. C (Spring Street)

-immediately turn right onto Hwy. A

-travel Hwy. A for 14 miles

-turn right onto W, travel to second set of stop lights

-turn left onto Hwy. 36 (Cottonpicker restaurant is on that corner)

-follow 36 into downtown, cross RR tracks

-come to stop sign

-drive one more block, past us (we are on right side, middle of block)

-turn right onto Chestnut Street

-go about 1 block, just past St. Vincent's Resale Shop on your left is a FREE ALL DAY CITY PARKING LOT

-(if that lot is full, go through a passage way in the back left corner of the lot into a free 3 Hour lot at Burlington Square.)

-park there and walk back to us

-exit Hwy. 11 East , go right(toward Racine) to Burlington (Elkhorn goes left)

-as you enter Burlington, the wide river is on your left, still on Hwy. 11

-11 veers to the left, you should 
     VEER TO THE RIGHT onto Chestnut St which says "to 36 South"

-pass an older empty brown brick bank bldg. on a corner on the right side of street,
       and 2 older houses with commercial uses in them

-immediately on your right is the free all-day Municipal Parking Lot

 (just 1.5 blocks BEFORE you get to the first downtown stop sign)

-park and walk back to the street (Chestnut Street)

-walk across Chestnut Street (by  Burlington Flowers & Interiors)

-walk right, to the corner: intersection of Milwaukee Av/Hwy.36 & Chestnut Street

-walk left ½ block on Milwaukee Avenue (Hwy.36)

-we are in the middle of the block on the left side of the street,

-follow 120 North through Lake Geneva

-continue north of the city for a number of miles  into the rural areas until you intersect with Hwy. 36

-turn right onto Hwy. 36 toward Burlington and through Lyons

-pass the Plaza Movie Theatre downtown (on your right side)

-at the next corner, turn left onto Chestnut Street (Johnson Bank is at this corner)  (BUS DRIVERS SKIP TO *)

--go 3/4 block, on your left will be the all-day free Municipal parking lot 

-walk back to sidewalk, cross street, then walk to your right to the corner of Milwaukee Avenue (Hwy.36) and Chestnut Street

-turn left at corner and we are 1/2 block on your left side

-once you are on Chestnut Street, go one block

-turn right at first corner: Mill Street
-go one block, and turn right onto North Pine Street

- go one block to stoplights and turn right onto Milwaukee Avenue (Hwy.36)
